Summary : The article presents a new method to the study of antiquity: ethnographic fieldwork combined with studies of ancient sources. Of especial focus are topics related to modern and ancient healing rituals, such as the importance of smell, taste and colours in relation to gender and healing in modern and ancient Greece. Healing rituals are generally connected with the domestic sphere, where women are the dominant power. Par l’étude du discours littéraire dans deux romans, Les Désorientés (2012) d’Amin Maalouf et Le Royaume du Papillon (2013) de Waciny Laredj, cet article montre comment le roman exprime la pensée critique des auteurs par le biais d’une fiction pensante. La pensée du roman (Pavel, 2003) se cristallise à travers, l’intertextualité, les instances narratives et la polyphonie énonciative, ce qui permet aux auteurs, par une narration fictionnalisée et des références « inter-fictionnelles » (Lavocat, 2016) de créer un espace spécifique de réflexion, différent des autres formes de discours (philosophique, politique, religieux, etc.) sur la possibilité de dissocier le religieux et le civil,...
